King of the Hill

Okay, by this point, JB leveled the ground and dug the L-shaped "ditch" for the footers of the addition. Then he laid in rebar, sump-pumped tons of water from one of the 1,000 rainstorms we've had, and then we had a concrete truck come out and pour the concrete. After it dried, we laid the blocks that you see here. It's all much easier said than done!

JB on the Back Hoe

Here's JB, about to start digging the footers for the master bath addition. He also used that thing to rip out the wall to the left with the blue tarp hanging over it! If you notice, the carport and trash from the previous picture are all gone. :)
