Front Siding Almost Done

Once we finish the siding on the front of the house, we still have to sand and paint the windows and door frame, redo the posts, add the lighting, pressure wash the roof and add new gutters. THEN it will look finished...at least from the front. :)

Kayak

Jeremy and I bought new kayaks and tested them out in the backyard. I'm sitting in mine while he was attaching his paddle.

Siding...finally!

It's amazing to see how drastic of an improvement the siding makes. We did this much in just a few hours. The rest of it will be a breeze, hopefully.

Jeremy and I worked on the fireplace the other night and it's now taller than me and him. :)
Our neighbor, Don, knew a guy who was willing to give us some bricks. He ended up giving us about 350 bricks, which should be enough to finish the stack and hearth.
